Many times, your job can require you to perform the same task repeatedly. When you
are reviewing table data, such as for Line Items, you can sort your table by headers
for your workspace. For example, you have an invoice with four line items. You want
to sort the Line Items table panel by Qty, not by Item.

To sort your data:

  1. From the Retrieve tab, display a document to populate the work panel on the left.
  2. Click the header by which you want to sort this table.

DocStar saves your sort preference if you navigate away from this page, so when you
use the Line Items table again, the same sorting preference is used.
