System Settings

System Settings are defaults for a company site.  These are common settings for how the software behaves for that given site.  They contain  lists, booleans, and key/value pairs.

Password Enforcement – This is to enable our enforcement of the following password rules:

  • password must be greater than or equal to 8 characters
  • must contain at least one symbol
  • must contain at least one number
  • must contain at least one lower case letter
  • must contain at least one uppercase letter

By default, this is enabled.

Fiscal Year End – For records retention you can change the month that ends the fiscal year.  By default,  this is set to 12 for December.

PDF Password Lists – This will be where the server can set a number of stored passwords to unlock PDFs for imaging. Currently, this feature has not rolled out yet for production use, but is used for development API reasons.

Quick Search Include Documents – This tells the server to search across documents when performing a quick search. The results will display documents that match the search criteria.

Quick Search Include Folders –  This tells the server to search across folders when performing a quick search. The results will display folders that match the search criteria.

Quick Search Include Inboxes – This tells the server to search across inboxes when performing a quick search. The results will display inboxes that match the search criteria.

Require SSL  – This is an obsolete feature and will be removed from future versions. By default, we require SSL and only for on premise will we allow non SSL traffic.  We do not recommend using anything but SSL for security reasons.
